Thumbnails For Shareable/Traceable Links
Request:
We’d like to request an improvement to the "Share Media" function under the Resources > Share Trackable Link section within the Contacts tab.
Current Behavior:

When sending a media resource link (e.g., a video) to a prospect, the preview shows the user's name and profile image (e.g., “Christopher Allen”) instead of a visual thumbnail of the actual media being shared.
Proposed Enhancement:
Allow the system to generate a visual thumbnail of the actual media file (e.g., video preview or image thumbnail) in the shared link preview — similar to how YouTube or Vimeo previews appear when shared via text or social platforms.
Why This Matters:
A media thumbnail creates immediate clarity and engagement for prospects
It reduces confusion (especially when sharing multiple assets)
It makes the message feel more personalized and professional
It helps improve click-through rates and perceived value of shared resources
Ideal Outcome:
When a video or image is shared via "Share Media," the preview includes:
The media thumbnail
The title or filename
Optional: A short description or first line of media title

100% agree. If I share media files or documents from the library my contact won’t know what is behind the 5 links I sent him. He will have to open first to see what’s behind, or I will have to reply to my link, so that it is easier to understand

Yes, totally agree! It feels a bit strange having our name and face there instead of the actual resource we’re sharing. Thx Christopher

Yes!! Definitely agree. It looks a little odd to have our name and face rather than the actual resource we’re sending.
